RefuSHE is thrilled to announce the appointment of three new US Board Members: Rachel Henderson, Nida Januskis, and Hani Masood effective August 24, 2020. Our newest members will bring the US Board to a total of nine directors. This is an exceptionally exciting time to join RefuSHE as we seek innovative ways to further support the refugee girls in our care, while amplifying our local leadership team in Nairobi, Kenya.

With global networks and deep expertise in their respective fields; Rachel, Nida, and Hani will complement and strengthen the current make-up of our board. We are looking forward to learning from and leading alongside each of them to further our mission of protecting, educating, and empowering refugee girls and young women. We will kick-off their appointment to RefuSHE’s US Board with a joint board meeting in October, inclusive of both our US and Kenya-based board members.

Our other US Board Members include Scott Gordon, Chairman and CEO of Rosenthal Collins Group; Melissa Fisher, Swahili Interpreter and Former Executive Director of the Collins Center; Marcus Ikeda, Vice President in the Trading Products Group at BMO Capital Markets; Shermin Kruse, Professor at Northwestern University, TEDx Producer, and Management Consultant; Dr. Rosalind Raddatz, Associate Vice Provost, Academic Administration at Aga Khan University; Julia Schmidt, Director of Business Intelligence for the US Commercial Bank at BMO Harris; and Dan Schoenfeld, Vice President of the Association for Supply Chain Management Foundation. RefuSHE is also served by six Board Members in Kenya.

Welcome to the team Rachel, Nida, and Hani!
