RefuSHE protects, educates, and empowers one of the world’s most vulnerable populations.
The young women we serve have fled war, persecution, domestic violence, and natural disasters. They have resettled in Nairobi from across East Africa, often orphaned or separated from family.
For these young women, RefuSHE represents hope, opportunity, and community. We provide a personalized, holistic model of support that includes safe shelter, case management, mental health, vocational training, entrepreneurship support, and a supportive community.
We invest in young refugee women and ensure they have the space to heal, the opportunities to grow, and skills to succeed.
