Nancy Tamasha
Programs Manager
Nancy Tamasha is a Program Manager with over a decade of experience in humanitarian work, research, and community development. Passionate about capacity strengthening and community-led solutions, Tamasha is committed to fostering resilience and sustainable development for marginalized populations. With expertise in project planning and management, mental health, child protection, and case management, she plays a critical role in safeguarding rights and providing durable solutions for displaced communities.
Serving as the Senior Program Manager-Safe House & Case Management at RefuSHE, Tamasha oversaw high-impact initiatives focused on protection, education, and empowerment for young refugee women and girls. She previously served as a Program Coordinator in case management and child protection at RefuSHE, where she worked on trauma-informed interventions and durable solutions for vulnerable populations.
Before joining RefuSHE, Tamasha worked as a Research Project Coordinator and Neurocognitive Tester at the University of Washington-Kenya, contributing to studies focused on understanding and improving the health and psychosocial well-being of children and youth affected by or exposed to HIV. With a BA in Psychology and Counselling from Daystar University and an MA in Project Planning and Management from the University of Nairobi, she integrates trauma-informed approaches into program development.
